Sunday Walking Meditation

Walking meditation is held every Sunday at the Walk Jones Wildlife Sanctuary in the Montreat Wilderness.

Meditation will last about 30 min, followed by a chance to relax, drink some tea or lemonade, and chat.

Walking meditation instructions are provided.

From Downtown Black Mountain

  • Turn north on Montreat Rd


  • Drive up Montreat Rd until it turns into Assembly Dr


  • Follow Assembly Drive until you bare left and it turns into Greybeard Tr.


  • Follow Greybeard Tr until you reach the Greybeard Trailhead. Someone will be waiting to point you to the gazebo.
